My art
I’m not the person to attend demonstrations. I’m not the one who stand in the front or at the top screaming out my views. It doesn’t mean that I don’t have anything to say. In my art I have the possibility to express my views.
To create make me happy! It’s big words. There is nothing that makes me so happy as the next time I can spend time at the studio with my paints, papers, canvases and all the things. To choose a colour palette, mix colours and see which mixes creates harmony or which creates contrast. It’s the best time. Maybe it sounds easy, but as most of us, I feel doubt and resistance ever so often.
I want people who look at my images to feel joy, energy and power. To get colour into you everyday life. Your eyeballs should be happy, as the American artist Sandi Hester says. I hope the joy I feel when painting transfers to you.

My story
As a child I liked all the crafts. I did a lot of things at home, like building a time machine, but I also attended a ceramics class since I was 9 years old. I still have a few of the figures I made as a child here in my studio. Sometimes they end up in a still life.
I’m interested in all things creative so over the years I’ve tried a lot. But right now, I’m focusing on visual arts and specially mixed media. I work with acrylic paints, collage, water colours, gouache, ink, pen, and crayons.
My artistry has grown slowly for many years. When I started freelancing 2008 the plan was to give myself more time to be creative. But work and life took over and it took until 2018 for me to decid to give art a real chance. During 2019 I attended a part-time art course for a whole year focusing on drawing, painting, and sculpture. It was exciting and fun and hard and frustrating. Since then, I made space for art and creativity in my life. I continued to educate myself on art, but also working towards a more creative everyday life.
